Stephen Ray Babcock Memorial Scholarship
Stephen Ray Babcock grew up in Bridger Canyon and attended
schools in Bozeman, Montana. He played the tuba in the Bozeman High marching
band that
made the
original
audition
tape qualifying the band to participate in the 1997 Rose Bowl paraded.
Stephen enjoyed track, music, computers, and his friends during high school.
He shared his love of video games with his father and sister.
He was a third year student at Montana State University majoring in photography
and theater arts. It was at MSU that he found his true
love
for
photography.
Stephen passed away quietly and peacefully on Dec.
22, 1998 from injuries sustained from a fall while ice skating
at a company Christmas party.
This scholarship was established by his parents in memory of Stephen.
