Biography

Kyle Bajakian is a photographer and educator based in Bozeman, MT. From 1998-2004, he served as the director of Photography and Digital Imaging at Anderson Ranch Arts Center. He worked as an editor and photojournalist in New England before moving West in 1993 to earn his MFA in photography at Arizona State University.

Kyle has photographed extensively in the West and has led numerous field workshops to many of its most beautiful and austere locations. He was a photographer and sound engineer for the Third View Project which documented physical and cultural changes in the West through a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach [www.thirdview.org]. His work is widely collected and held in numerous galleries and private collections across the country. Currently, he is adjunct professor of photography at Montana State University.
