Photography Internship: (7/23/08) The MSU News Service has an opening for fall semester 2008 for a News Photography Intern. This is an unpaid position requiring 6-9 hours/week of commitment depending on the availability of the intern and is worth 2-3 credits. The intern will work closely with the news photographer and  writers and will provide photography for www.montana.edu, premium publications, stories for external media and assist the news photographer on advanced photo assignments and/or act as a second camera. A computer and desk space will be provided for the intern, but the intern must provide their own digital photography equipment.

The intern will be expected to attend weekly news meetings and should have experience with digital photography, digital photo editing and Macintosh computer platform. This is a professional news environment and the ideal candidate will bring professionalism and enthusiasm to the position. The intern may be required to walk/hike long distances with camera gear and be available irregular hours within reason and their academic schedule.
