Department of Media & Theatre Arts Film Facilities
The Media Theatre & Arts Department is located in the Visual Communications
Building, which includes two large sound stages, complete state of the art digital, film, and video equipment, lighting studios, darkrooms, a theater, and edit bays for
film and sound editing. Our department has completed construction of a state of the art Black
Box Theater located adjacent to the Visual Communications Building.
The city of Bozeman and the state
of Montana offer great locations
for feature films, commercials, television, documentaries, music videos, and
still photography. The Montana
Department of Commerce promotes and is supportive of the film industry
in this state.
