Alumni - School of Film & Photography (Formerly, Department of Media & Theatre Arts)
Announcements:
- The newly named School of Film and Photography will celebrate its first fifty years (as the Department of Film & Television and the Department of Media and Theatre Arts) on September 11 and 12, 2009. As we take pride in our School’s past accomplishments and look to the future, we celebrate all graduates in film, photography, television, and theatre. Events will include panels and workshops presented by accomplished alumni, a ‘MEMORY LANE’ evening, and a celebratory cocktail reception, as well as opportunities to see selected student films produced in each decade since the 1950s, examples of photography by alumni, a display recognizing past stage performances, the chance to attend the student produced and directed play, Greater Tuna, and/or to attend a Bobcat football game. (6/8/09)
- Thank you to all who were able to attend the 2009 Alumni Reception at the LeParc Suites in West Hollywood, CA! We hope you had an enjoyable evening and join us for the School of Film and Photography's 50th Anniversary Celebration slated for September 11 & 12, 2009. (6/8/09)
- Congratulations to Sierra Wolff, class of 2007, of Blue Sparks Productions! Her "Going Green" commercial was awarded a Silver Telly. Logan Schnieder, MTA alumnus, shot the winning commercial, and current undergraduates Brian Johnson and Ryan Browning worked on the production, and Dustin Chiocci, MTA alumnus, worked on the sound design. (4/4/09)
- Please mark your calendars
and save Friday, Sept 11, 2009 for a day
of celebration that will continue through
the weekend on Sept 12 and 13, 2009 as
this year is the 50th anniversary of what
used to be the Department of Film and TV
and the Department of Media and Theatre
Arts. (3/5/09)
